Wood

We use paper board sourced from managed plantations (to comply with FSC and SFI standards) which means the wood is grown and harvested in a sustainable way and does not contribute to deforestation.

Polylactic Acid – Plant Starch

IngeoTM PLA is a polymer made from renewable plant starch resources, not oil. IngeoTM PLA requires up to 68% fewer fossil fuel resources to produce than traditional plastic. It is compostable & biodegradable in a commercial composting facility.

Bagasse – Sugarcane

Bagasse is the sugarcane fiber waste left after juice extraction in the sugar industry, meaning the raw material for packaging is a waste product of another industry. Sugarcane and bamboo are incredibly fast growing plants, making them highly valuable as material in the renewable resource industry. Bagasse is biodegradable and compostable, and will break down in a home compost heap or worm farm, as well as commercial composting facilities.

This renewable and reclaimed resource is a strong alternative to traditional plastics or polystyrene.
